Advent: Day 21

Lego Calendar:
i captured a few pictures of how the kids are playing with the pieces to the advent calendar:
putting the wagons together
i love this one... they call the man st.nick and they put him on the top of the fireplace

Activities: Celebrate the first day of winter with snow activities.

The kids made colors of faith snowflake ornaments,

 snowmen sticker pictures,

snowflakes for our door {a favorite activity},

and snowballs for an indoor snowball fight.  once the snowballs were finished and the kids were getting ready to have their snowball fight, they came up with the idea of coloring the snowballs a certain color or set of colors for each person.  i thought it was interesting that they wanted to make sure they ended up with their own snowballs when they were finished.  they really enjoyed creating an obstacle course in the bonus room and having a snowball fight.

Bible Verses:  1 Thessalonians  5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:7-12
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
