Hair Dilemma

I have very little patience when it comes to my hair.  I have tried to grow it out, unsuccessfully, many times over the years.  I get impatient with the process and having the same style for long periods of time.

I am currently in the "growing my hair out" stage.  I haven't felt the need to cut my hair or change things up until a few weeks ago when I saw the pictures of Victoria Beckham's new pixie hair cut.

Once I saw the pictures of her new do, I found myself wanting to cut my hair.  I have an appointment this week, so my hair dilemma is: stick with the grow it out plan or just chop my hair and do something fun??

This is where you all come in -  you can vote on my poll, leave a comment (I want your honest thoughts, feelings, opinions), or both.  I will post pictures on Thursday with my new, same, or modified haircut!

I'm probably not a good person to ask because I am so not a risk taker. Personally, I'd probably stick with the grow it out plan, but the pixie cut is cute!

I say you "go for it" as it's just hair! :) Seriously though - with all that weight loss you've had - the hair will just complete your "total Kristen Makeover"! I think it would look great on you!

That is such a great idea...I have been pondering to cut my hair shorter. I like the old Victoria Beckman do...or Stephanie Gunstreams.
I think that you look adorable with short hair and it goes with your cute figure and fun personality! Go for it!

Do it!!! I mean how cute would that be on you...besides extremely! I love that cut and it would add some fun pizzaz to your gymnastic mommy look! You are so cute as it is. I'm sure you would give Victoria a run for her money!

Kris-I say go for it! You look great with your hair short and the cut is very fun and cute! Funny, Lori was showing me and my mom that cut when she was here last weekend trying to convince my mom to take the plunge and do something different! Hair grows, that is the conclusion I have come to so it you cut it and it's not your favorite you can always grow it out again. Do it, do it!

ok, i honestly don't know? i've only seen you with short hair Kristen!...which puts me at a disadvantage to those who have seen you with both. uh, er, well, i'd say cut it short and fun! the truth is though, you'll look hot whatever you do.

I think you should do it! I have fond memories of so-short hair. All I had to do was literally run my fingers through it to style it. No comb needed. My morning routine took three minutes, tops. And that pixie on YOU. Very cute.

Forget the haircut -- Go for the tattoo down the spine! Man, that would hurt...

I think you would look great in that hairstyle (since you asked for honesty and not sarcastic remarks, I'll indulge you!) :)

Oh, I just think of how cold your neck and ears will be with the new do. Of course, I am a grow it out kinda girl! However, I know for fact you will look FABULOUS with whichever do you chose.

i had short hair like yours for at least 10yrs or more. and then i decided to let grow (bangs too).
i still see short dues that i know i could pull off, but i don't let myself go any shorter than it is now.
and short hair requires fix'n everyday,
but is so spunky.
when i decided to let mine grow, i knew that was it, no turning back.
it is hard to stop being a short hair girl.
it's a big commitment to let it grow.
i am not answering your question.
i am still bothered by your previous blog post.

I second Laura's motion and vote for short hair and tatoo down the spine. It has teacher turned gymnastics mommy written all over it.

OK, so I'm a little behind so this may be too late, but my vote is cutting it - after you talk to your stylist. I once wanted the same thing and my stylist talked me out of it because my hair is so fine. She said I was more likely to look bald than pixie-esque. Instead she had a better suggestion and it turned out great. So, while I'm all for short and cute and EASY, I'd ask the professional.
