Activity:

make paper strip christmas trees

one of the biggest challenges i can run into with finding advent activities is the age span of my children.  i need to find something the can engage a 13 year old, an 8 year old, and a 6 year old.

when i saw the paper strip tree, i knew this would be perfect

 i cut a variety of green paper into strips

 i set them on the table, gave minimal instructions, and let them create

 it was something that they could do on their own

or working with one of their siblings

 once the trees were completed, mauryn used a circle punch to made the ornaments for the trees

i love how they turned out.

each one unique, just like my kiddos.

i can't wait to get these up in the house.
