Advent: Day 14

Lego Advent Calendar:

 Bible Verses:
Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.  Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. Daniel 9:24-25

 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.  And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,  to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Luke 2:1-5

the kids picked the toppings and bagged them up
we added in bowls, spoons, and a gift card for ice cream

 for the past few years the kids have exchanged christmas gifts with their pen pals in ohio
they make a handmade gift, send a small purchased gift, and a favorite treat
this year morgan decided to make a chap stick cozy
i pulled up the tutorial on line and she did the rest on her own

landon decided to make his pen pal a marshmallow shooter
{we bought extra materials so he could have his own}
i bought my pipe at home depot and just asked them to cut it to size there so landon's only job was the assemble the marshmallow shooter
